Just back from the dealers with both rear clusters replaced. They've caught/scraped a rubber at the back of the cluster on the refit but its something ill chat to them about as its not to worry over, just glad to have the new clusters fitted. Done foc by Williams Manchester as a BMW gesture of goodwill given ive had the issue before.

I'm getting nowhere fast and still no resonse whatsoever to the formal complaint but at least it's good to see some members of the forum getting good results. I suppose it depends on the dealer in the first instance. Coopers were not really interested but have paid the price in the long run as I spent my money elsewhere (Tring Specialist Cars) for my new one.
10 plate 3.0 had new light clusters due to water, even had them look at fronts as well the fogged up.
62 plate 2.8 and 200 miles 3 months had 2 new lights due to cracking around the bottom thermal bonding, infact drivers side nearly came off, and rear brake light failed
SO 3 years on still no improvement in the lights.
