On the way home top down in the sun, car running beautifully.
I'm then waiting at a red traffic light in a line of stationary traffic, when bang, I get jolted from behind.
We pull over, guy was nice enough, apologised and said his foot had slipped off the clutch, I did noticed he was bare footed. which was probably the reason
Damage looks superficial, just a graze by the reversing sensor, which when I got home has almost polished ut, but if you look side on you can the an imprint of where the trim on his bumper has imbosed mine.
Now I'm in a dilema whether to go through insurance or not, at the time he said he would pay outside insurance, but when I said the paint alone would probably be £300, he thought more like £100.
I know it was a non fault accident, but I know what insurance companies are like, and I don't what to lose any of my excess or no claims. :x
My car is an 04 in pretty good nick, what are you thoughts??
