calling me a liar lolll my brother was 100% buying that hardtop i encouraged him as it would compliment the car but a his clutch gave up on the way to pick the hard top up so iin the end it was the hardtop or a new clutch and also getting the car towed back to our house so sorry if i pissed a forum member off

Oh my goodness....this thread is a killer....so much love in it.

My view is the seller should have been notified of the issue of not coming, notified of a sale now a no-sale due to other repairs needed.

But wow...this is entertaining...even in Canada where we are reported to say "sorry" way to much...I'd like to extend a free "sorry" to the supposed buyer....as that is all he needed to say/do, and all of this would have been settled. :poke:
 
The forum needs a feedback/trust profile. Where if you make deals with someone you can choose to give positive or negative feedback. That way you know who your dealing with as you would expect someone to buy a few things before selling a few, etc.

There was another guy on here who lied about the reason for selling his Z4 saying he needed the cash for a holiday / he was going to france for some time, etc. He sold it to someone on here then the next day put up a wanted thread for another Z4 within 24 hours.

Now I wouldn't want to be the guy who just bought that Z4 where the owner said he was selling it because he needed cash desperately and then the next day is looking to buy another.

Stay safe folks.

IMO the mods should ban both. As they clearly aren't trustworthy.
 
So has the buyer actually said sorry to the seller for messing him around and blatantly misleading him?
 
Doubt it, the same old story with a generation that thinks its entitled to everything, plenty of excuses but never an admission or a simple apology.
