Rattle/rubbing on interior

Hey Guys,

My car has developed a rattle/rubbing noise on the inside of the car on passengers side.

It appears to be the panel just behind the door, where the roof retracts into.

If I hold the panel in it stops. I can't see any screws or anything to tighten up in order to prevent the noise.

Had anyone experienced this or have any suggestions.

Can nobody help with this, Im hitting a wall with this & the noise is getting worse. Its now rattling every time i drive the car.

Hi, I had a really irritating rattle on drivers' side behind my head. Ended up being plastic panel inside roll hoop. A clip had broken on the right side at the bottom.....

Mine does exactly the same.
When I first got it I sprayed some ptfe spray between the two pieces of plastic that were squeaking, this stopped it for about two months, but now it's back again.
I find it's really bad for a few minutes, but then it starts getting better, I thinks it's temperature related

Rattle rattle drives you mad could be the ole zed gremlin thighten down the brace struts under the hood open up look at thr brace strut on top in black v to the front where it meets the bulk head tighton up away you go. hope it works

Hi Tino,

That sounds like it might be it. Do you mean drop the hood or undo the roof to reveal something?

Not 100% sure what you mean, any chance of some pics?

Lift hood look at engine top of engine from front to back a black rolled tube open v at front closed v at back fixes to bulk head tighten down hope this explanes. sorry cam no good . front of v off struts.
