Hi all, just noticed my dmf is starting to rattle...any recommendations for a good flywheel and clutch ...sach are a bit cheaper than luk but are they any good ?

When are you noticing it?
I’ve had several manuals where you get a clunking when turning the engine off- everyone I spoke to including a specialist said don’t worry about it
If otherwise I’d budget £500 to get a clutch fitted and about £350 for a DMF

My 320d DMF has had a bit of a rattle for the last 100k miles. I'll do it when the 276k clutch goes....
Oh, and Sachs are a good name so I'd happily have one of those if it was cheaper than a LUK.

Just picked up a Luk clutch kit from Autodoc with 30% off ...came in at £138 !Southwestz4 said:
just need to hunt down a Dmf for a reasonable cost...I have done a lot of clutches but they were on a ramp ...no access to ramp now so not sure about doing it on my back on the drive
