Couldn't agree moreAngie4m said:I was actually following a E92 M3 today in town, it didn't have the noise the Z4 has because you need to really put the foot down with the V8 to get that lovely roar but the looks you get in the Z4 is just amazing and the noise helps too

Overrated is its middle name...love the E36/E46 M3 though.![]()
They are over rated as a road car in my opinion, in the nurburgring environment they will work fine as you can keep the revs above 6k to make the best of its high rev range but out on the road it can feel very very flat low down in the revs, I never had any complaints with the induction noise that is really good its just the exhaust note that is seriously muted for a 4.0 V8 for me personally...I presume the brakes are uprated on the ring taxi`s as that's another area where the E92 M3 is weak they wilt under hard road use and I would never trust the standard set up on a track.zztop said:Hmm, having just been round the nurburgring in an m3 ringtaxi, I'd have to say it was a phenomenal car, blindingly quick, lovely sound and excellent handling, not over rated at all.

Yea I couldn't find it either. Fancied a heated steering wheel as well.Dexter_Morgan said:Anyone got a link to this fully loaded 35is? BMW approved site is a POS.

You mirror exactly what I thought of it in that quote in every word!matsmith749 said:Love how it looks, love the whole 'M3' thing - but driving slightly aggressively on 50 mph A roads / roundabouts like a loon was very disappointing. It just did not feel 'fast' & the noise was much too civilised. Had to wring it's neck right up to the redline to get any real drama going - and that's not what I wanted from a daily driver.

I am a big fan of them Zed Five said:Brasseye said:Yea I couldn't find it either. Fancied a heated steering wheel as well.Dexter_Morgan said:Anyone got a link to this fully loaded 35is? BMW approved site is a POS.
It is at Elms - Bedford. Space Grey £25,995
Zed Five said:No longer for sale. Now only 6 nationwide but if I recall correctly the spec was very high on the 25k one. Wasn't fully loaded, only a few options hence the price.

There are currently 4 35iS available from BMW. That must be the most that I've seen for a while. at least 1 with a 'full house' spec (heat wheel, TV etc) if anyone is looking for one.
