Errr.....yellow?? :D

 yep! Just happened to be right car, spec & price & happened to be yellow. He doesn't care tho. I thought he would. You should see our drive!
Can they see your drive from space  :D

If you get SAD syndrome in the winter, get over to our gaffe

... as it goes, TT almost got written off in the week by some woman's dad seeing his daughter out of his driveway on the opposite side of the road in a 40 limit. Her view was blocked by bushes & frack me last minute got waved out, found brakes work but if hadn't been a wide driveway on my side would have taken her out - luckily no one behind.

Hi Rubes, I'm in Dubai club lounge waiting for connecting flight. Been here for two hours, got a nother 3 yet!! Better be worth it!?

Anyway back on topic.
Maybe this would be better for him Cazza.....

Pleased your son is ok Carol  I thought I loved blue cars...but the love you have for yellow just goes that one step further! :D

Glad he's ok J

All that yellow is blinding me though, I keep seeing sunflowers floating across my vision :dizzy:

Funny thing is, it's all accidental. This 107 & the Boxster just happened to be yellow and came with spec & price that was suitable. It's not planned, honest!

Most comments on here are pure speculation and have no merit but to hurt and highlight how better they are, all that's bad with forums the web over
"Most comments on here are pure speculation"
exactly the only person that really knows what happened has not posted on here.
"and have no merit but to hurt and highlight how better they are, all that's bad with forums the web over"
if you only want sympathy dont post on a forum.
I have a bad feeling the overriding issue here is the next insurance quote.

And I've spoken to two people, whereas you haven't, who were involved and both say the same thing.

Nobody asked for, nor expected sympathy. Why are you implying I want sympathy?

Too bloody right it's ONE of the reasons. Why is it when a person drives for a few years (or loads of years in some cases) with no incident then has one accident and the insurers can double plus the premium? Rip off.
The actual overriding issue is the woman who made a very bad last minute decision to stop dead in the middle of the road. Not for a child or an animal but to turn into a garden centre, THAT is the issue.

The older I've got, the more aware I've become of how much cars sometimes don't stop as quickly as you'd expect - I still sometimes get caught out, though touch wood would simply say have been lucky at my last second judgement calls.

I'm more glad he's alive to live another day, I only wish that he can learn from this experience & take away something that he can do better in similar circumstances next time.

Good hunting for a new car

you've knocked it on the head there jembo, older doesnt mean wiser but it does give a bit of experience. next time carols son goes near that corner or one similar he may think to hold back a bit. unfortunately for him this time its ended in a crunch.

carol rant away as i would be pissed it it was me. i had a sort of similar thing on the m6 once where some one else hung on the brakes, guy in front shot over the inside lane onto the hard shoulder and i had to stop quick. lucky the z has good brakes. i had to stop at the next junction as the force of the braking and pull of the belt gave me stomach cramps.

Just seen this thread, but I have no sympathy for the lad.

He should've left enough space to brake. Simple as that.

No rant needed.

I once got caught out going round a bend and crashed into a traffic light. It was wet at the time. Should I blame mother nature?
