Ram Air Scoops ### £35 delivered

Well, this is disappointing. A whole 7 hours have passed since the first scoop was received and no one has claimed the first installation photos yet! Does everyone on here really work for a living?! :poke:

Received mine too Dan, thanks very much!

Just got home and it's here.

Looks great thanks for all your hard work, oh and the screws were still on the box

Am I the first to fit?

Just! Too dark for me to take a photo.

I have taken mine for a spin though - 40mph + and it certainly feels like it's got a bit more go, so happy Stu!

Fitted mine when I got in from work I'll take some pics in the daylight tomorrow

Beat you to it i think lol. Well at least to post the pics up (in discussion area!)
They can be done without bumper removal. I've put a write up on my thread!

I took bumper off due to my ballast failing again!!
Would definitely be easier with bumper off, but it's quite easy with it on, especially if you pilot drill the holes first. You have to get the drill in at an angle which is ideal as you can then fit the screws at an angle. Not something you need to do if your taking the bumper off anyway! BTW, I live about a mile from Ricky Hatton, well that's if he's back with his missus . He's a nice bloke and always let's on when you see him. He's got a couple of rows of seats from Maine Road, from when we moved stadiums, in his back garden and a City flag on a full sized flag pole in his front garden lol. He has a gym about half a mile from me. He's had Frank Bruno there recently and Ali last year. Gutted I missed him :(

I'm not a direct relation although I am a Hatton which led to the hitman nickname during my school days

Thanks again to Dan for his great work

mine arrived today and screws still attached :)

dont forget the double sided sticky tape people (not really sure what it does tho?)

will be fitting at weekend!! thanks again for a great job Dan

Had the opportunity to fit mine today! :D Very happy with the end result and (surprisingly) noticeable performance gain.. It seems to pick up quicker, like its not being held back - though it could be phycological or just more noticeable on a 2.2..

Fitting wise, it took me nowhere near 20 minutes - more like 2 hours. I went in through the grille and it was a real struggle to align it perfectly and get it screwed in place. I think what made it so difficult is how bloomin' dark it was even when using torches and the lack of room/line of sight once your hands are in there. Overall, it was very fiddly to fit but well worth the effort!!

(Excuse the dirt - she's in need of a clean!)

For those who are like me and are doing this as their first "hands on" mod & suffer from car OCD.. give yourself plenty of time to get it aligned perfectly with no gaps. The end result is well worth it!

Thanks again, Dan - top quality product!
