Could this be the answer to the problem of needing to replace the whole screen...I'll have to get out and take the plastic cover off mine this weekend.

Surely if it's possible to remove the sensor, there's no need to buy a new one - all you have to do is clean it up and re-fix to the windscreen :? Can't be as easy as it sounds![]()

I don't think it'll be to long before somebody succesfully replaces the sensor, espcially now as more and more Zeds are going out or warrenty.
Replacing the whole screen is just crazy, but just what a main dealer would do.
I'm gonna take the plastic shroud off mine at the weeked and get an idea of what's involved in this job.
