Raging - Again :-(

Really sorry to read about the damage, yes it sucks.

As for the rants, makes an interesting read........first I am none to happy about the lack of discipline in society, but it has always been there, nothing new about it, has it got worse over the decades of course it has the general population has grown and communication is easier.

My concern is, we bring back flogging for the peeps that stole bings badges, what will be the punishment for downloading pirated entertainment or speeding.

I might be an atheist, but the saying he who has not sinned may cast the first stone........

Downloading Pirated entertainment is theft, so same punishment, it is no lesser crime than stealing from a shop or an individual. Speeding generally on the whole is a victimless crime unless it results in an accident.
Question is though If the punishment for Speeding was flogging, would ya do it. I know I wouldn't.

As for the guy in the Video that Finnistere posted, apparently he was giving this caning for Rape, in which case I think the singapore authorities got it wrong. He should have been turned around and given the same on his front along with a 25 year sentence at least with this corporal punishment being carried out every quarter.
If this guy grew up knowing he would get a caning for rape but did it anyway do we really think that sitting him down and addressing his "anger issues" and eventually end up blaming his parents or similar, do you honestly think that would make a difference, people like this have gentic problem that no amount of therapy is going to cure, so until the time arrives where science can cure them are we supposed to just allow our wives and daughters to be raped just coz he is angry, Just how angry do you think I would be if my wife or daughters were raped.
People like him should be permanently removed from society.

So this time the entire passenger side repeater has been nicked. From the driveway this time, but was out from 10 till 10 yesterday. Not even put the new carbon badges back on yet. Garage is getting aggressively emptied, and i'll probably put the badges back to stock. Note no expletives this time - too upset, and already broke the bin kicking it

BMW can't get me a new repeater till Tuesday, so the car's out of action till then. Bastards :(

Get the camera sorted !!! I have successfully caught and convicted two criminals that way as the police picked them up within days after I showed them the footage.

The second lot took me a little detective work to find, but again that scrote paid for all the damage caused when he tried to kick my Fort Knox gates in.

the one behind us is slightly less salubrious. To give you an idea, the local National Front candidate for the last election lives there...

Your lucky, I've got the Labour MP living next to me.

Fduking ar5eholes!!!!! :x :x :x :x Really sorry to hear that mate.

Generally I'm not a violent person however if I ever caught someone doing that to one of my cars I think there is a good chance I'd be the one who ends up doing time - scumbags!!!!

I was thinking about getting some carbon badges for mine when I get it, sort of go along with the stealth look, but as I will be leaving it at train stations over night every now and then I'm wondering if its worth the risk :|

Thanks guys - I'm really, really grateful for such generosity

Been having a debate with myself about sticking ambers on a facelift with clear lights... However my better half and our nice have convinced me that it will add a nice flash of colour to the car, and you guys can get me up and running faster than BMW so I am not going to be precious about it. Going to feel a bit retro with the 'normal' badges back on - you never know, could be a new craze

I'll PM you both my address - cheers guys, welling up for all the RIGHT reasons this time

To be honest, I put them on in October and they have been fine till the last couple of weeks. I don't think they are opportunists like you'd get in a car park, as they were stuck on too hard for a quick rip. They've clocked it over time, then taken their chances when the house has beedark and the second car away this time. It was the side of the car next to a big hedge, so they could crouch down and not be seen / lit up by the front door light. According to a neighbour there were a load of yoofs running around in the street last night, but the neighbour didn't see anything.

I'll might have a full set of carbon badges, including brand new bonnet and hood badges but minus one repeater badge :( up for sale soon...

Well if you do let me know, I might take the gamble.

I suppose the worry with these things isn't the loss of the badges themselves, its the damage they do getting them off. I suppose I'd feel more comfortable fitting them if I just made sure they weren't stuck on too hard. Hard enough they won't come off but stick anything behind them and off they pop without too much pressure.

As gannet just said in a PM, decisions decisions... Whilst I'd gotten my head round amber, it's a facelift so I'd prefer clear. Wantanm - you will have a PM shortly, thanks

I remain bowled over by everyone's instant generosity - heartfelt thanks, in a manly way of course

Boils my piss when I hear stories like this :x replace badges asap and get some extra bright security lights. Do'nt let the sh@tbags grind you down!
