Rag top to Tin top

Would be interested to see the seats in the flesh, I have only ever seen those on a phoenix yellow Z4.

Have the wheels been refurbed with a painted lip?

Read this with great interest as it's on my list of things to-do this summer and my dilemma was also Si or //M. Very nice coupe indeed and I love the interior - even though my mind keeps telling me I shouldn't

Thanks for all the great replies people. Nice to see that some of u have great taste in colour combinations aswell

Think it's safe to say that I won't see another one like it in a hurry and I like that fact!

Srhutch, yes BMW have just had all 4 wheels refurbished and 4 new tires on. It does look like a painted rim though. Guess this will eliminate any future problems with corrosion... Or will it?

i actually like the two tone interior... only ever seen that interior on a yellow z4r though.

Shame the interior is grey and yellow and not black and yellow as that would suit the exterior.. but still looks lovely.

Personally i would have wanted the lip on the 108's to be polished and not painted... when the wheels get dirty the stars go grey and the lip still looks shiney..

Hope so Jamie_z4, my current 108's are starting to look shabby now. Think the polished lip Makes the wheel look so good though so I will reserve judgement until tomorrow. If I don't like then I guess I'll have to save up for some csl reps :) think yours will be transformed with the 108's on mate.

cheers mate, just stuck em on tonight , well impressed , it stands out a lot more now, looks just like yours

any plans for it?

Get some pics up on here with the new rims on :D

Well the only things I'm doing to it in the immediate future are gloss black kidney grilles, new stubby, debadge and a set of led number plate lights. Had some on my 1 series and they look really good.

Apart from that just a really good mini detail once the weather picks up a bit..

Ant other plans for yours?

will do tomorrow mate when its clean :D

ive got a stubby and LED numberplate bulbs, i've give it a detail with my DA polisher last weekend,

you not fancy some LED sidelights to go with your Xenons, will finish it off nicley

Seems we have similar taste :)

Which number plate bulbs did u get just the replacement bulbs or the whole light unit?

I was thinkin about something which makes the side light angel eye a bit brighter as they seem quite dim at the mo, do the led ones do this?

yes mate seems so :)

i got these, and belive me they are perfectly adiquate for the task, very bright and good price (if you can wait 2 weeks for deliverY)http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180613624379&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Thanks mate, I'll check them out and look into getting some ordered.

Right I'm off to get some shut eye. Up at the crack of Dawn to go pick the batmobile up

Looks stunning mate, almost makes me wish I'd waited for a black one. Really like the wheels too, going to have to find me a set of 108's that's for sure. Even with the painted lip they look good and will be maintenance free too!
