Been wanting to do this for a while but was never quite sure how it would look, However after a recent visit from RichardG we tried his lights on my car and I could then see how they would look (Cheers Richard
).
So I set about looking for some or indeed some all clears I could mod, Luckily around about that time Peddy was selling some all clears which i put a bid in for (Cheers Peddy
).
Ordered up the Tint and Laquer from Flea bay, together they came to less than £10 including postage, Laquer arrived the following day but had to wait over a week for the Tint to arrive, By this time I had already got the lights masked off and ready for the imminent tint arrival.
Biggest problem I faced was how to mask off the indicator spots as they are not round but oval shaped, I noticed a few people had tried different methods but I thought the way I did it was quick and precise.
Step 1,
Using a free flow ink pen I drew around the spots then Using wide masking tape I put 2 stips across the spot with them meeting roughly in the middle, and drew some lines across them so I could make sure they met up correctly when reapplied, The ink instantly marked the tape which removed any form of guess work'
Step 2
Remove one stip and cut out the required shape and then re-attach using your marks to align it back into the correct position.

Then do the same with the other strip

Step 3
Mask off the rest of the light. added a bit more across the tape join just to ensure no tint got through.

Masked off and tools used

Step 4
Sprayed em up, 4 coats of tint brought it up to about the right shade and then applied 3 coats of laquer, left em to dry fully and removed all the tape

In this picture I have attached one of the lights Drivers side and tried them to ensure I was getting the right amount light and it looked the same level of brightness

Happy with the levels I then attached the passenger side

Then got Mrs Nosa to apply the brake. (note full circle brake lights, Cheers Mr G
)

Re-attached the french fries and really happy with the end results

Tint and laquer used

My thanks to Both Richard and Pedram
