For this interested here are the route taken ..

Using info from “best biking roads” and the best I could find from proper paper maps

The natural parks were stunning .. fabulous roads akin to good flowing U.K. A roads and twisty B roads

Great surfaces and very little traffic apart from be big towns which we mostly avoided

Lots of positives from other road users .. letting us out, thumbs up, waves and slower vehicles pulling in to let us pass

All in all .. pretty good so far and I’ve whist kicked over 1000 miles in 6 days

The first part of the routes attached I did solo down from Roscoff to Saumur

Day whatever..Capmany…lovely little originally a Spanish Fort town to Andorra La Vella..

Only in theory a couple of hundred km of driving but 5 hours on the road not including stops..

Party split due to SWMBO going down with migraine and extreme bend swinging for many kms taking its toll…

Spending the night in this bustling microcosm of capitalism worship..

Nice hotel right in the centre…

This route certainly checked out any steering, braking issues..

Andorra La Vella to Aneto…a small village on the way up to the French Border, next to Aneto the highest peak in the Pyrenees…

A relatively short day as there aren’t that many options, Andy O planned a route taking into account motor biking recommended roads..

Lovely quaint hostal with an adjoining sophisticated restaurant serving local delicacies..not all to everyone’s preferences…however copious glasses of wine and beer seemingly offset any initial reservations..

Another hot day in parts..

Was interesting to see Andorra but it seemingly has been filled up with Spanish shopping aficionados…

Another day in the Pyrenees…hopping from our lovely 2 night halt in Aneto…old boy and his wife who run the hotel asked for a photo shoot in front if their simple pension / auberge…

Lovely couple and Lovett stay…SWMBO said she wished for surrogate parents like them…

Over into France then wiggly roads till we descended into Spain again…

Long day with lots of ‘yet another gob smacking views’..

Final two days…group split with most doing another French border crossing…we headed south into the Spanish canyons , a visit to a mega Chris de Burgh mega class castle they across the plains for a rendezvous in Longrono.

Next day we headed to the Picos Europa mountains via some fabulous sweeping open roads then a blast on some fabulous two lane free Autopistas sweeping through the Picos onto our final night stop..another great hotel..
