Good man! Thanks.

Well 'Project Spa' is lined up on the drive ready to roll at 0630 Wednesday morning, complete with brand new Pierburg water pump and Mahle thermostat and a fresh load of coolant.
I'll be sorry to see it go tbh.
I'm taking it down to Southampton and meeting [ref]Wayo11[/ref] there for the big handover. Quite jealous as he's heading home the scenic route through the New Forest.
Rather than fix the EPS motor on [ref]Z4_PPZ[/ref]'s 2.5i we've done a deal and I'm driving it back to Norfolk with no power steering to become my next project.
(After I've fitted and coded an airbag module for someone else on the way home  )

So last chance for anyone to suggest any other useful bits I could pop in the boot for Mark?

That sounds like quite a day out Martin!

Enjoy some Z4 miles. :driving:

Job done!

What an truly excellent thread - everything that is great about the forum!

Kudos to [ref]enuff_zed[/ref], and very best of luck with the trip [ref]Wayo11[/ref].

Hopefully this thread lives on with a log of your endeavours.

It has been a great experience… so far! Martin is an absolute legend - I couldn’t have wished for better support! We had to go over budget but for the right reasons… now, time for a drive through the New Forest to get to know my new Z before the main event in July!
:D :driving:

Most excellent ! Congrat's to all involved.

Pleanty of time before July for [ref]Wayo11[/ref], to screw car up yet :P (Joking)

That's uplifted the neighbourhood.

Got home at 8pm after fitting and coding another airbag module. Passenger seat was jammed back which made it a hell of a job to swap the module, but we got there in the end. I am officially knackered!!

Great stuff Martin - maybe take it easy tomorrow!

The handover photo is brilliant.

Great stuff. All you need to do now is convince your friend to get into my Project Z and the trip will be good to go!
