arrived today and it’s mint! Few more nice extras than vin decoder suggested and runs and drives perfectly! Will have a proper fettle this weekend but looking all good so far!

Needs a new front bumper and under tray plus some tidying jobs on the interior plus an all over enhancing (lights buffing etc). Will be selling the aero bits and clear rear lights etc to fund the project before selling on hopefully at break even point. Just happy to save a Z.

Looking forward to getting started. On initial nosey round the car has CD changer, auto lights and possibly wipers. Also has what looks to be a new K&n panel filter too.

With Aeros I can't see how you can go wrong, but I hope it works out well done for saving a Z.

How did you manage that?

Even with new bearing shells and a pair of Aeros I'm not quite that deep into my MC (yet)!

It’s sadly passed it’s best- I will keep it to see if I can do anything with it as a project once the car is finished.

So having some time today to play with the project it seems the lights aren’t working correctly. The lights are auto headlights. The lights come on as soon as the car starts but you can’t turn them off or indicate or use main beam. Is this the LCM? Carpets under both seats are a bit damp too- could this be linked? No fuses are blown.

I’d say lcm

I’ve got a load of spares if you need to borrow one to test it? Which lcm is it? Auto/xenon etc?
