Fantastic results on the paint correction. The ceramic coating on mine is Gyeon Pro and it's excellent. I haven't a clue with detailing so I use a well respected detailer.

Been busy again today, rear end refresh

Whilst in there I discovered why the boot is biblically bright…

And also discovered that Alan (No 5) relocated the roof motor for the previous owner in 2020 as it was written on the little panel in the boot… he’s done so many that he didn’t even recognise the car at AV8 last week

All back together and roof working flawlessly

Despite fitting Eibach springs the car is barely any lower, the rear springs were nearly as tired as the shocks.

All the shadowing around the previous ‘Mpower’ badges was removed by polishing, so I didn’t need to resort to wet sanding… which is good news.

Ordered new front spring plates etc. from Cotswold BMW to rebuild the front struts ‘as new’, should be here Wednesday

Since the last update;

Front and rear; Sachs Shocks, Eibach Pro springs and Lemforder top mounts installed with new spring plates, rubbers & bump stops.
Steering wheel refurbished- effectively via a deep clean
TPMS ‘Amazon special’ removed
Pheasant cannons from lower front bumper removed
Magnetic phone holder… that didn’t work, removed
Engine bay detailed
Horrible DRL’s disconnected- waiting on a new front lower grill to remove completely
Visit from Voodoo dents PDR - brilliant work
Seats removed, carpets deep cleaned, seats refurbished using a furniture clinic kit - also discovered that the seatbelt sensor clip on the passenger seat was partially disengaged. Reattached correctly and all sorted- no more bonging!

Visit to zedfest, but had to drive up in the morning so car filthy when I got there :thumbsdown:
