I think the original sterling grey would show the lines very well.

But maybe the idea is to not stick with the original ?

To show off the lines it needs to be a lighter colour, silver works very well for this but is a bit boring (IMHO) so i agree either a light gun metal type of colour, or sod it and paint it Red! black would be a mistake in my view (but would make it look chuffing scary coming up behind you, but perhaps a bit "batmobile" like?

Intense white, with a lot of clear coat will be the final colour.

Because the car has tinted black rear lights, tinted black front lights, carbon wing, carbon bonnet, carbon canards, carbon interior with white detailing... and the alloys are White 2 piece split rims with black carbon interiors... the car will be frost white to highlight these black details.

I have about 5m squared of 2cm x 2cm haxagon body kit mesh that's going in all them holes... Which obviously goes in post paint... pics will follow when it's at that stage. Paint date not confirmed but it will be one whole colour by the end of Saturday, primed and ready for the first of it's base coat.

It's all gravy m'homey!

Brad, have you seen the link for the Z4-Forum stand at the Duxford Car show in May?

Could act as the grand unveiling?
