bradmarsh1989,

Just looking over the thread,

Wow! what a project you have taken on!

I must admit I'm not one for body kits but I really like the stance from the rear  looks ace! and the front bumper looks smart

any up to date photos?

may I ask what you are going to do to the engine, are you going to leave the 2.2 in? and any idea what she will weigh once she done? the weight of the sheet metal and body filler will soon add up :!:

This is a thread I will differently be keeping my eye on :!:

P.s how much as "he" cost? I say he because no "She" should be that wide

Hey bud! Thanks for visiting... 10 months in the making and what a journey it has been. We've had explosions, cuts, bruises, hospital visits, theft... the only thing this car hasn't done is break up a marriage. So it's not far off becoming it's own soap show.

Appreciate the comments, the reality is, not many people thought this car would turn out how it did... I started posting pictures of Iron Man esk pannel work and when I originally got the front bumper it didn't look anything like what it does now. I am really looking forward to when she/he is done, we're at the stage now where i'm booking paint dates and going over the thing with a fine tooth comb to ensure its not only safe but road legal.

To answer your questions. The car is around the same weight as stock, I put a custom exhaust system on and installed lightweight racing seats as well as removing the 6cd changer and other stuff which gave me a total weight saving of around 70kg. The bodywork has evened this out. But this is a show car... do not give a care in the world as to how fast it is....

That's another project... ;)

So very nearly there Brad, can't wait to see it finished

...don't you forget the names under that bonnet though

its like waiting for yr new z to be delivered, everyone gagging to see it, I must say its looking a whole lot better than I thought it would, much recognition deserved for your foresight, perseverance and your mates bodywork. well done

Half way there just one more year left to go! brad is there a rough time to when its done? Ex: will be done for sure before april?

Some oldies from a friends phone I found when we moved the car from the old unit back in August.
