This is looking great  I will be in touch Monday about what we have discussed. But at the new sizes I am much more confident

are you having this work done in B'mouth somewhere? When are you expecting this to be done by? I only ask as I'm going to be in Bournemouth in early June and would LOVE to see the progress in the flesh.

Interested to see how it turns out. I can see flaring the rear fenders, but don't understand why you are messing with the fronts. Also feel like you are going WAYYYY too wide on the rears (not sure they will flow with the lines of the car). But, I'll wait and see how it comes out.

Amazing! I love bonkers projects like this. You have some big balls to start cutting of panels but I'm looking forward to seeing the progress 8)

Good luck! :!:

We have rented some work space in a privately owned garage in Bournemouth yes. The garage features a fully sealed spray room, which 'bakes' the paint as it's drying so it's top quality stuff! We're really very lucky to be able to use it. The location is top secret

But im sure we can work something out.

p.s. Will have some progress pictures up tonight as i'm going to start stripping the interior this eve.

You'll have to remember that when judging gaps your mirrors are no longer the widest part of the car :P

Looks good though, and would love to have a GT style wide-body kit on mine, but don't have the bottle to wreck a perfectly good Z4MC to do so. Maybe if a cat D/C car came up in the future that was cosmetic damage only then this would be a good base car for a project.

Can't wait to see how it comes out!

For those of us who missed the OP, what is project marmite? What's the overall plan?

When are you planning on having this finished by? You planning to roll up to Z-Fest at all?

The deadline for this build on the whole is July 21st as I am entered into a national modified car event. The deadline for the exterior part of the build is May 18th as I have a photoshoot with a magazine then.

In regards to Z-Fest, I would honestly love to... But we will see.

I think ur crazy as feck, a little sick and twisted in the head maybe...and I'm not convinced ill like what ur trying to do here...

Buy my god am I looking forward to seeing how this turns out

You're wrong.

I don't either love or hate marmite. Some days I really like it, and some days I don't fancy it. Please ammend first post

Heart in mouth I feel dizzy looking at a Z4MC all cut up but very curious to see what you're going to do with it. DO you have a computer rendering you can show us?

its great to push some boundries as contrevertial s they may be. Well done.
