this is your worse nightmare when doing a project like this. i had to store my bodywork outside in the garden while i was doing my westfield and it always worried me.
Have you considered getting some build insurance from the likes of footman james/A plan/adrian flux? for a kit car while its being built it would cover just this. its not particularly cheap and you have to estimate costs.

Dear all,
I would just like to take the time to inform you all that as of yesterday evening as a community you have all single handedly managed to crash my paypal account... I got a message from paypal customer services that an 'unusual amount of credit activity has taken place' and my paypal account is suspended until an investigation has taken place... cheers!
Not to panic as after a quick phone call all was resolved and I logged into my account to see a staggering £700+ and a further £50-60 transfered to my bank account directly through BACS payments... I could NOT believe my eyes. :friends:
I am bursting to tell you all how much this really means to me but to save me from posting an incredibly un-masculine outburst of feelings and emotions I will do one better and thank you all properly with somthing else I am planning in addition to the names on the underside of the bonnet idea.
To be able to re-coup from what happened and to start looking forward to this project again feels absolutely amazing and I could not have done it without each and every one of you. As some of you may know a certain monkey came to visit me a few weeks ago to supply some parts for the build and I mentioned something to him at the time that I was planning to make and finally got the time off work to do so today. Can anyone guess what I'm doing?
I think that Mat's work is simply awesome and I wanted to share my appreciation for his tallents by creating a Machine Monkey decal for the car for when it is finished. I have made a run of around 10-20 of these and my plan is to send them to him to distribute as he see's fit to those who have bought his products!
What does everyone think?
Once again thank you all so much for your kind donations and I promise whole heartedly to put your hard earned contributions towards the parts that were stolen... though if I spend a week in the maldives shortly and you don't see me for a while It will have absolutely nothing to do with it of course...

Brad What this Forum has done for you recently has blown me away. I have no idea how you must be feeling. There are some fantastic people on hear willing to help out and lend a hand or advice. Its how i wish the rest of the world was!!

I must say, that after some careful consideration. Im no longer getting a Z4. This forums has managed to make me stay through its constant activity and its thoughtfulness! Cant wait to see this car get sorted! Is there a closing date for the donations? I cant give just yet. But can after ive been paied!
I guess that we'll have to call time on the donations at some point but it's only been 5 days. I'm happy to keep updating the lists until the end of the month, I would think that everyone who wants to donate will have done so by then - after that, there's nothing to stop people donating direct to Brad if they wishBlackwolf said:

I bought these about a month ago but never arranged a courier to collect them because I had other things to deal with at the time. But the guy who I bought them from was kind enough to hold onto them until such time that I decided to arrange delivery of them.
I am still in the process of sorting out subframes and deciding on the correct way to fit these properly so if anyone has any suggestions or knows of a direct bolt on (base mount) alternative for me and can link me to where I can buy them please do let me know. But here are some pics of me test fitting them in the car. They do look lovely.
So very glad I was patient enough to wait for the seats to pop up in the colour I wanted. What does everyone think?
