Guys... I have some bad news.
Today I got news that the garage where we were working on the car got broken into over night. It seems as though someone who knew about the build informed some horrible people and the car got absolutely rinsed in a single night. The police have been informed and they have been taking prints all evening.
I am completely gutted and absolutely HEARTBROKEN that someone would do this when I am pouring my absolute heart and soul into this car. They have taken over £1,500 worth of equipment from the car including all 4 alloys/tyres and all of the parts that were going to go onto the car within the next few weeks. It was a completely personal and thought out attack on my z4 and was organised through social media most likely as I have been posting pictures of the cars progress only through here and there.
So this project is on HOLD until the parts can be retrieved or I can get an insurance claim from the garage who's security systems failed to stop them from getting in. I am destroyed inside and no longer have any drive for this project in the meantime. I do not have the funds to put back into the car that I have outlayed for the parts already.
Can EVERYONE please be on the lookout for some 19" Deep Dish matte black alloy wheels and tyres on ebay or other forums.
I cannot believe the that worst luck always happens to good people, a few months ago people saw that this car got broken into through the passenger side door and I managed to get it fixed in time to start on this build... I feel like s**t and have no words to further describe how I feel right now.
