Tidy profit? BS.

£3k sale price
£1k 'donation' from us fine fellows less...

£300 eBay fees
£1k min in parts (and no charge for any labour)
£1k wheels
£2k car (assuming it was a cat D and a wreck, which is the only way it could be £2k)

I make that a £300 loss, but given the car was probably bearer £5k than £2k, I'm being kind, so I call BS.

Either way, given we could have made our donation the running of this forum rather than Brads junk, I hope he does the decent thing and gives some of his 'tidy profit' towards this forum.

What a load of Boll*cks, tidy profit? who's he kidding, it was a piece of s**t.

I may sign up to the forum and post some pic of it so the TT members don't fall for any of his BS.

What a load of crap, no doubt that will be another nice car fu*ked up in the coming months. He should be banned from having a car and be made to take the bus. Bell*nd! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

The guys got no shame - signing up on the TT forum with the same username and proudly announcing another 'project'. Wouldn't be as galling if he had made good with a healthy donation back to the forum. He was before my time so I wasn't suckered in to his project marmite, but I've read all about it. It was one helluva thread - top class entertainment with El Taco taking pot shots.

Its did provide much entertainment and El Taco was great as far am i'm concerned, he just said what other were thinking and didn't mind upsetting people with the truth

Pretty sure I,m still registered with the TT Forum from years ago, maybe I'll log in and take a look and then warn anyone to check the z4 forum before investing!

Couple of questions on this as it was before my time

1) Why on earth did he think this was a good idea and why on earth did people give him money?!
2) Why would you embark on such a project and start with a 2.2i (sorry 2.2i owners) if your going to waste.......sorry spend this sort of money on a car why not start with the 3.0i in the first place?!

The greatest philosophers who have ever lived couldn't answer these questions

I was one of many to donate and I'll tell you why. I personally didn't know the chap but the reason why people donated, we'll me anyway, was that some scrotes had broke into his garage and trashed the project car looking for stuff to nick etc. For whatever naivety he started that project and whatever naivety we had for donating, I think we felt he'd been wronged especially as he was 'one of us' (a Z4 saddo) and so felt empathy. Bikes or cars that are modified will very rarely make any profit. I think a good idea in principle but maybe not thought out properly in practical terms. The Zed 4, Rag, Tin or Coupe looks great as it is. If it ain't broke....................

I fully agree with your reasoning and accept that not all projects get finished (particularly crap ones!) so have no beef with that. But I do think he's behaved like arse by neglecting the forum since and now gloating that he made a profit on the heap of tat seems like bad form, although I think that's probably BS :wkr:

Aquazi it is now your duty to introduce the TT forum to images of the last project and prepare them mentally for the outcome.

£300 ebay fee's? Last time I check it was 10% upto a maximum of £40. No one would give ebay £300 to advertise a car.

I was wondering what's happened to Bradley and now I know. This would be a great movie to watch! 8)

Well he's already ruined it, them wheels don't suit the car and they look like halfords species, team dynamics or not.

Someone needs to post some pics of the z4 over there so they know what shite he will create from that TT

I couldn't help but go have a look - here's a pic.

I'm only sharing the pic because the ad that appeared beneath it made me spit my cornflakes out...

Undergoes her transformation.!!!

This is urgent lads, I purpose we all donate £10 and hire someone to steal all his tools.

Sounds like the plans are marginally less ambitious than those for the Z4 let's hope he stays clear of the filler this time !

I get the ambition of doing a project car but after a complete failure don't do it all again.

For those who may have missed the original post & want to catch up with how this beauty was created

His lack of camera skills frustrate me the most "you can see how wide the car is" Erm no because you've filmed the roof.....

I also would not call that car a garage queen, more Frankenstein

Don't know why I watched that video, his voice annoys the f**k out of me!

Good reply Andy, see what happens when he bites
