Worth checking post-collection is the state of your new car’s battery, especially if you have a short Dealer to home journey as I did.

It took 16hrs on a 6A conditioner with AGM setting to bring mine up to full charge !

I just placed my order a few days ago for the M4.0 Handschalter Edition in Thundernight metalic. It will be a 2026 and they told me 14-16 weeks so I am looking at mid-summer. I can’t wait. In the meantime I will be reading everyone else’s experiences.

That will be a M40i not a m4.0i. My order was placed on the 23rd Feb this year and she was sat at the docks at Bremerhaven on the 28th Feb.

Where are you in the world that might have a bearing on delivery times. Good colour choice.

My apologies your are correct M40i. I am in the US and the local dealerships are now ordering from 2026 allocations. Between the rumors that production of the Z4 will end in March 2026 as well as impending tariffs, the dealers here are seeing very high sales.

Its having decontamination wash, stage 1 machine polish, full front end and boot PPF ceramic coating the rest of the paintwork inc wheels. oh and the fabric roofs getting a specialist coating.....Fabseal Gold. £1800.
Was going to have the whole car ceramic coated but the PPF seams the more sensible option seen at the trees over hang where the cars parked.
