Private number plate or not?

Just put HI4 BXR on my boxster for £250 seemed like a bargain as it says Hi and Hayling island where i live.Next March it will look like a 14 plate :D
 
Had mine since 1991 It's been on 5 motorbikes.
Last week it went on my Z, first time ever on a car.
Every one to their own but I love my plate.

Love my personal plate... it has a personal meeting as it was my son's nickname when he was born. Had it for years now, on a number of cars.

I think a PP makes the world of a difference to any car. Currently trying to purchase a 2 letter 2 number dateless reg for the X5.

Never been a fan of the new style number plates. Much prefer the old prefix style. Purchased this one a few months back with a view to putting it on my step daughter's (Poppy) car when she turns 18. :)

have K66UPE on the coupe ,anything that takes your fancy really, :roll: be careful if they need tweaking though as the police are getting a bit hot on it now and the fines have gone up too.

I've had X3 *** (my initials) for several years now and transferred across several cars.

Don't know why, I checked on a website and there it was so I got it. Wouldn't be without it now!

Like the OP I always thought they were a bit Naff but can't help looking at the Zed and wondering. I have a nice angular plate now VX07 RXS which I don't hate. I did see F14GSH which I quite like as its my initials and references a 2 seat supersonic hi tech (now out of prduction) fighter, the Tomcat. It also happens to star in one of my favourite 80s movies - Top Gun.

Still torn.....
