Previous car to Z4 ??

had this:

bought it brand new, sold it to buy a house, had a crappy runabout and then bought the Z4.

i must say, the focus was great, although the fuel consumption and front tyres only lasting 6,000 miles did put a downer on things

TVR Cerbera 4.5 it's not often you swap a faster car for a slower one but I did when I got my z4m, mainly as I wanted a reliable car after six years of headache!

Mine was a 1980 Porsche 911 SC, which was fully rebuilt by my friend who I bought it from,I had it for around 10 yrs and also had it restored again and modified, loved it :-)

Any excuse to post some pics :-)

Corolla T Sport - quite rare really (especially compared to its main rival of the time the Civic Type R).

Very good car and turn key reliable - also was a bit of a sleeper as most did not expect it to be very quick at all :D

Not what you would call the greatest handler/hot hatch but it was a face lift version and was certainly not as bad to drive as a lot of the mags would have you think!

71 Datsun 240Z purchased in stock condition in 74 (over time upgraded cam, headers, suspension, lightweight flywheel...) sold in 94 when we needed a transport for the kids. Returned to my addiction with an 07 Z4C.

Lovely, I had a 1972 Datsun 240Z, owned the same car twice, loved it :driving:

57 plate Focus ST3. From baseball cap to beanie in one single, giant, 100% spot-on leap :D

Z4 forum beanies - hmmmm, there's an idea. Though it will hopefully be sunny and warm like last year, so I'd look very stupid !
