Previous car to Z4 ??

Sorry if this has been done before but I wondered, after reading about Ross D coming from a Focus Estate what we'd sold or swapped to get to a Z4.
Mine was a '57 Renaultsport Clio 197, so major culture, build and ride quality shock there but I do miss the roller skate with back wheel in the air handling a bit to be honest.
 
1998 Porsche 996 still sadly missed ,just to expensive to maintain and with over100 k on the clock big money a head
 
BMW Z3 BMW 525d still own both but non BMW would be Golf GTI 52 plate only every had German cars for the last 20 odd years

More like an Austin Reed suit than Armani!!

My last non-Zed was a Merc C220cdi Coupe. Nice enough but I'll never buy another diesel.
 
Mine was a 06 MINI Cooper S factory JCW. Sold it to buy the Z, then realised we couldn't live without a MINI (had one since 2004) so sold the 1 series and bought an R56 fJCW.

London Tube - I found the seats much more comfortable but the leg room limited during peak hours

Know what you mean about not being able to live without a MINI. We still ahve the R52 Cabrio S. Everyone needs a MINI in their life!
