I understand your point but at the end of the day the last thing you need is a neighbour dispute - such disputes can and usually do escalate so that it makes it very uncomfortable for everyone - you both need to talk to each other to see if there can be a compromise or at least an understanding of each other's position - as regards boundaries why does she think that this is her land ? Has she different documentation to yours ? On the face of it your site plan does look conclusive but at the same time whatever you do should be reasonable and considerate to how it affects others - I take it that gate is what you are thinking of ( or is it a wind up :lol: ) it resembles something guarding Fort Knox - and if that covers a window when left open then I can see why she's upset besides being visually out of place - a more sympathetic ornate metal gate would look a lot better and would not be so obtrusive - my point is listen to what she is upset about ( I bet it's more than just the bushes ) and see if both of you can give a little to restore harmony - believe me it will be worth it .
