Love those Style 32s. Usually a fan of black grilles but black + chrome might work well on yours because of those wheels.

Have to say I agree with you. However, when I bought the car I got it cheaper than it might have been due to the condition of the bodywork which needs sorting. There are very minor bits all over, but in particular each rear wing has a small area of rust.

So (to get to my point!) I can't make my mind up whether to just get them repaired and sprayed black to match (in which case I'll change the grills) or go the whole hog and get the entire car sorted and resprayed in Techno Violet or Purple silk (and probably keep the black grills). Second option would mean I'd probably change the wheels too. Decisions decisions...

Mine are 8J ET47 and 8.5J ET50. I believe these are same as standard E86 wheels. Only they weigh a lot less

Yes, that is standard E86 sizes. They were an option on the E46, which uses the same sizes.

The ones in other sizes were fitted to other BMWs, like 5 Series I think, but they may require using a hub centre ring to get them to sit right.

Lovely looking wheels though!

Back in '97 I had a 328i Sport Coupe in Daytona Violet (Silver leather) which in my opinion is even nicer :D Can't find a photo but this E36 M3 on the web looks dead similar

You see that looks like Techno Violet to me. Some colours are almost impossible to replicate on a screen. Either way, I've always had a thing for E36 shades. TV being my favourite. This is the picture that makes me want it on my Zed...

And this is Purple Silk, which again looks completely different on screens...

In real life, both are gorgeous

One of my favourite cars of the moment is Harry Metcalfe’s Project 8. Could be the first purple car I’ve loved.

Had a run through Glenshee today. The 8 miles between Braemar and the ski centre is awesome.

One of my favourite stretches of road in the uk , done either direction its sublime to drive & for scenery :driving: very lucky having that on your doorstep

I agree it's a great stretch of road. The south side of the ski centre is a bit comical with all it's bumps and twists. We were coming back from Aberdeen and decided to go the Deeside way instead of the normal dull road. I'll leave it a while yet before returning as they were still putting tons of grit and salt down. Thats why we left the roof up as it was pinging everywhere with passing cars. Must have seen at least 4 gritters spreading between Ballater and the Spittal of Glenshee. 20190304_203844.jpg

My old territory, Born and bred in Perthshire, lived in Aberdeen for 15 years before coming to NZ 30 years ago. Used to have some crazy drives when ski-ing at Glenshee.
Love to do it in the M, great colour as well. Trying to locate one over here but rare as hens teeth. Enjoy

That's the first White ///M I have seen. 8) Must add Glenshee, Braemar to the ski center to my next walking trip in the Cairngorms.

Don't panic I'll take the ///MR with me.
