Spotted a few on ebay with 8" ET 20 and 9" ET22, would these fit straight onto a E86?

Have to say I agree with you. However, when I bought the car I got it cheaper than it might have been due to the condition of the bodywork which needs sorting. There are very minor bits all over, but in particular each rear wing has a small area of rust.
So (to get to my point!) I can't make my mind up whether to just get them repaired and sprayed black to match (in which case I'll change the grills) or go the whole hog and get the entire car sorted and resprayed in Techno Violet or Purple silk (and probably keep the black grills). Second option would mean I'd probably change the wheels too. Decisions decisions...

I agree it's a great stretch of road. The south side of the ski centre is a bit comical with all it's bumps and twists. We were coming back from Aberdeen and decided to go the Deeside way instead of the normal dull road. I'll leave it a while yet before returning as they were still putting tons of grit and salt down. Thats why we left the roof up as it was pinging everywhere with passing cars. Must have seen at least 4 gritters spreading between Ballater and the Spittal of Glenshee. 20190304_203844.jpg
