Very sad to see your photo MrPT. :(

That is such a PITA!

It is but I'm hoping for a relatively straightforward repair. No experience with tyre repairs but I'm told it'll be ok because it's quite far from the edge.

I didn't like to raise false hopes, but I would be hoping for a repair for that as well.

You just need to find somewhere that is willing to do a repair rather than just try to sell you a new tyre! (I know a place in Bisley, Surrey near J3 of the M3 if you get stuck).

Good luck getting it sorted soon.

Refurbished 108's in anthracite. To be honest I'm not so sure.

FWIW I think they look great given the colour of your car! Wouldn't suit my blue Z4, but they work well on the right colour car.

Thanks. There are a few places near me that fit the brief (not ATS, Kwikfit, slightly shabby, friendly old dudes, very busy...) that I'll try.

If it doesn't repair it'll be the excuse I've been waiting for to try 265/35 rears. :D

That sounds like the sort of place I was thinking of - old-school!

I hope you don't need the excuse, but in a way maybe you are hoping you will!

Who said "it's grim up north ?"

On a nice day and in a nice car like yours there is nowhere finer ! :D Looks familiar...Bowland ? Longridge ?

You should be a detective !

Balls.

Easy repair and will cost you about £20. Have had two done in the past exactly the same. Just make sure you take it to an independent garage as the larger national chains will all tell you it cannot be repaired

250miles today, feels great after recent service, the gbox oil change is the big revelation, really is the mini GT for swallowing up miles on a run - with the roads getting worse in general everywhere so glad of the 18 pss extra sidewall...

Pic from stretch of A819...

Back on the Road - Street Legal again (after a month sitting in the garage with an expired WOF (MOT)). No drama, and everything passed :)
It's been such a cold, wet miserable winter so far, I haven't really missed going out in it, but good to have the option should the sun peek through the clouds anytime soon
