Looking good Marlon... Might look even better with a set of 224's

Thanks Pastry - always fancied a set of those. Pop my silver grills back in to match, then come winter revert to all black with hardtop :)
If only a nice clean set came up on new rubber

If only aye  They looked a nice set and I shall look forward to the pictures :poke: :D

If you hadn't said Marlon, I'd have thought you were overseas in the Sahara ! :D

And what are you '89 boys doing with the roof's up ???

Was just for parking, as the wind was hard at the coast we want to avoid to have the whole dust in the inside. But to be honest also in the afternoon there was a point when we closed the roof. Driving the whole day trough a temperature of 33* to 35* makes you somewhere crazy.

Belive me you can trust me :poke:

If you fancy a paddle in the sea at Southport you need a car to get there!

That's where I learned to drive a car. 6 years old, sat on me dad's knee controlling the steering wheel of his souped-up silver Ford Cortina GT all the way on the beach from Ainsdale to Southport and back. Then later graduating through different cars until when at 12 he let me drive his Granada dd all on me todd, shiftin gears and everything!
Remember the vast expanse of beach when the tide was out and was back there last summer when I picked up the zed. Had to make a tribute trip!
When did the funfair go? I didnt get the memo! :( totally different to how i remeber it. Churchtown still the same tho

If my number plate light had not be out, this would arguably have been the best photo I've ever taken of my Z.

I feel your pain - that is a fabulous photo.

Aren't the number plate lights those fancy LED thingies that use no electricity and last forever? The only 2 bulbs that ever blew on my 1 Series in 6 and a half years! :headbang:
