Ty! I'll use Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 and original tire sizes, 225/40 R18 and 255/35 R18. It's too complicated to get legal any other tire size than original here in Slovenia.
Same here in Spain! Deviate a little from factory standard including most mods and you have to do a homologation project at a cost of around 300€! It's ridiculous!

Wow, I thought we got a hard time in the UK!

Maybe a bonus benefit from leaving the EU.

I think it’s been like this since forever here. I recently enquired about making legal sports lowered suspension, spacers and front lip spoiler, side skirts and rear boot spoiler and was quoted 300€ for the homologation process and probably another 100€ at the ITV (MOT) test center for a special test where they check the mods listed in the homologation paperwork matches! All actually just total BS and making it unnecessarily difficult for those who want to mod their cars.

On the flip side though I don’t think you need to worry about informing your insurance company as once it’s been legalised and the mods listed in the ficha técnica [document which states the specs of the car from the manufacturer and also lists the ITV tests done) they are deemed to be legal and safe.

Got photos from my first time at Laguna Seca last month :driving: They turned out too good to resist purchasing :D
The OEM suspension did not have fun on the corkscrew
