The climb up from Melmerby to Hartside Summit (East) if you catch it free of traffic (and Cumbria Constabulary !) is quite superb. One of my favourites

The reason I redone Hartside was traffic. Then I done it again just because :lol:

Spent the week in the lakes and woke up to this. Was worried about getting it out, but was fine! It’s bloody filthy though

A great route and cracking roads. Know them well. Whereabouts are you based ? I'm near Chorley, Lancashire and only an hour or so from Bowland, Dales and the Lakes. Like to get out there as often as possible. Talking of the Lakes, I've only just come in from walking the dogs and looking way-off northwest over Cumbrian fells I could see spectacular purple, yellow, blue lightning. It was quite something 
. Guess it was the snow storm that's causing problems in the area right now

Full DOG DOG valet , and new carbon front corners fitted on the splitter, I crunched one of the black ones a couple of weeks back , also got some carbon side skirts ordered
