What on earth is the point of them? Extra Faffage Quotient if you ask me! The main reason why I bought the Zed was due to the ease of which the hood operates, last thing I want to do is hinder it.

this is true, don't know why they couldn't have deigned that area to be covered anyway, seems a bit of an afterthought.
My car came with them and for some reason I refuse to sell them even though I've never used them :rofl:

They take the buffeting noise out when you are cruising at low speed, When I have fitted mine I forget they are there till a "mangeling" sound starts when you raise the roof.
I totally agree with your statement.

surely between us all we can find an address in Germany that the company will post a box full to ? then ship em back and sell them on for the cost +carriage ? :)

I'm in contact with a BMW dealership in Germany, and am in the process of obtaining a best price for a bulk purchase. At this stage I need to know numbers, so if you're interested please say so. THEY ARE BRAND NEW AND IN GREY, YES GREY (though I've heard they can be sprayed).

Estimated price is £56 plus shipping at this stage.
