I came across this beauty while in mijas last year.

Don't know what's up with all you "M snobbery" and "Badge Police", get over it.

If someone wants to put a badge on, let them do it, so what, I preferred having the engine.
Or does that worry you that a 318 in a race may develop a bad reputation for M owners. :rofl:
 
Its a shame that if i decided to stick an "M" badge on the back of my car, not that i have any intension of doing so, i would probably feel pressured in leaving this forum because of some of the bullying comments made in this thread, comments on here certainly would not prevent me from personalising my car in any way i choose.
I respect peoples opinion on what is good or bad taste and hopefully they would express it in good taste.
So if i turned up at a "meet" with my "M" badge on the back of my sport coupe would you greet me with "morning twat or Morning eunuch? i dont think so, be much better if people would have a little bit more respect for the way in which some members choose to personalise their car.

I agree with this... I find it amusing seeing cars that have this, as the only people who know what it means can spot a fake... But end of the day its not hurting anyone so let them do it!!

What people decide to do to their cars is really there business, so doesn't really bother me in the slightest. If it makes them happy what is the problem, as they are not harming anyone.
 
I want ///M door sill plates. Feel like I am looking at a bit chopped off an engine cover ever time I open my door to see silver plastic BMW. Gonna find me some :thumbsup:

If I had paid good money for an M only to find the brand washed out by the below, then I'm sure I would be somewhat disappointed
