Just got done having a conversation with a 510 owner with "M" stickers and a......wait for it..... V8 slapped on the fender sidewell. Politely (well maybe not) told they individual that he really should remove the V8 and //M stickers off his old POS. He proceeded to ask why and "what the hell do you drive?" :D That little Z4 right behind you,,,,,,a real //M! Guy did not have another word to say the rest of the time I was getting my food. P.S. have the pics on my cell phone of his car, but forgot to bring home the cabe to upload to this fantastic group of people 8)
 
I saw a e30 318 convertible today and on the back of the rear roof he had stitched onto the roof on either side a M logo which looked like a badge you got from scouts made me laugh.
 
There's a Z4 3ltr coupe at my office with M badges

Haven't found out who owns it though

Its just one thing about owning an M that grinds my gears... If its an M the only people who will notice are other car nerds - and the only people who will know it isn't an M are other car nerds. Either way they just end up looking a bell end. :headbang:

The worse culprits for 'M' badges on non 'M' cars are BMW :)

'M' sports have badges everywhere from the wheels to the sills and now BMW have a new 'M' lite section like the 135Mi thing.

So if people want to decorate their cars with 'M' badges why not? Afterall, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery :wink:

Might stick an 'M' or two on SWMBOs 318ci :o :poke:

Theres a 3.0si coupe I've seen in the benfleet area with M badging.

Also a E60 5 Series diesel with M badges and the vents cut badly into the front wings - nice. :?
