Porsche 911 997 Carrera S - first registered 23/11/2004 (54 Reg) - C16 (UK) Spec, HPI Clear. £30,995

Had the 111 point inspection at Nottingham Porsche Centre and warranty extended for 12 months (started on the 6/7/11)

Purchased by me in March 2010, previous owner (18 months) was a PCGB member and was only selling to go back air cooled. I looked at quite a few cars and this was far and above the best car I viewed. it had done 44,000 miles when I bought it and I've done about 13,000 in it since, mainly as my daily driver to and from work (70 mile round trip mostly motorway).

It's a great spec and most desirable colour combination of black on black.

I have a large number of receipts/history for various service and maintenance work over the years.

The car also had a new clutch fitted last year, heat shields and a new battery
There has been various other warranty work been completed as its been under OPC extended warranty for at least 2 years (I made sure I got the value out of mine!)So it has pretty much wanted for nothing.

I would describe the car as excellent condition, it does have a few stone chips and the odd tiny mark as you've expect from a car that's over 6 years old. The paint has been well looked after and is swirl free (previous owner was into the expensive Zymol products) I use a combination of Meguiars, Autoglym and Final Finish Products.

Interior is in very nice condition, no real bolster wear and no sagging on the driver's seat (a common problem on 911 seats)

The wheels are all mint, no stone chips or curbing and have a matching set of Pirelli P-Zeros (all N rated). The Fronts probably have 5-6mm on them and rears (being honest) are getting low maybe about 3mm. However I do have a spare set of 18" Carrera Gen 2 alloys with an excellent set of Michelin Pilot Sports that I used during the winter that can be negotiated for as part of the deal.

I realise this isn't the cheapest 997 for sale but price reflects condition and history. This as far as I can see its the cheapest black on black C2S with PSE & Aerokit under OPC warranty in the country!

the phones in porsches always make me laugh. reminds me of 80's city boys in pin stripe suits.

awesome car though, why would you want to swap that for a E89?............that 911 is in a different league !

It is a daily driver - E89 is a cruiser whilst the 911 is a sportscar.

thanks for the comments :) its a great car and does look pretty cool!

its just with the price of petrol and Porsche running costs ;) i feel i need a newer, slightly more economical, convertable car - oh thats automatic lol

iv'e been contemplating getting a golf TDI, but once you factor in the costs of buying one it doesn't really save much or if any cash
