BMW Z4M Coupe or Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 4S

Relatively new to the forum and was initially looking to purchase a Z4M Coupe but have since been looking at the Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 4S hence my dilemma, :headbang: so !!!!! in need of some expert advice which I am sure you guys / gals. will oblige me with.
My goal is to purchase a car which is, or very soon will become, a classic / collectors car capable of partnering me on a day to day ( low mileage ) basis and also when attending performance driving master classes etc. Help please :?
 
can't go too far wrong with either, my 996 is quite modified so does everything better than my stock z4m could, but that said I drove a stock carrera and cayman before the bmw and didn't think twice about taking the beemer over them.

Haven't driven a c4s although do remember obliterating one down an a road many moons ago in my supra when they were still pretty new, he wasn't pleased!
