Pork, Strudel & Cheese With Holes - a road trip :-)

Yes, Bing and I arrived in The Netherlands.

Traffic UK side was rather bad with the closure of the M20. Train was only 20 minutes late, glorious weather.

Can't load the pictures as I only have my phone with me.

Excuses excuses :poke:
+1 He's just not very resourceful is he?

He could take pictures with his phone, email them to us and we could post them

Been here for hours - we're on holiday, so posting on the forum is low priority :D

Took a while to get to Calais this morning with all the traffic backed up, but we made our train with plenty time. Parked up prior to boarding :

First time I've been on Le Shuttle - sadly it didn't get any more exciting than that, as today is kind of like the drive to the meet point, so just loooooong motorway miles. On the plus side, I didn't crash, we didn't get stopped by the fuzz, it was sunny all the way (my arms are burnt :x ), and I got 28.2mpg :D

My car is at PVRs parents (at least it had better be there, stationary... Or someone is dead meat  ), and Wee Bing and I have had dinner and are back at the hotel in the centre of town. JaxZ4, Tom & ZermattV are on a ferry somewhere in the North Sea and we *think* we're meeting them about 45mins away at 1200 tomorrow... Though nobody answered when we asked. Winging it, as usual

Then it's 'Bahn Time  :driving:

At least Bing has admitted defeat and I got my M keys back in my pocket again :P

Just giving it a bit of Sepang treatment

Cheers for the update guys, Enjoy a more picturesque day tomorrow. Will be waiting with bated breath for the next installment.

PVR abusing BINGS Zed. I doubt it, he still fancies the old girl.

Indeed - he couldn't bring himself to abuse her, so I'll be sleeping soundly

PVR asked me to post this.

Bing's car cooling down after Tim took it out for a good Sepang Tune up.

Come on guys where's todays report?

Some of us are still working this week and we need a bit of escapism :poke:

Some good driving today and stretched the legs for the first time in this car :D

Not complaining about the weather either. 27-28c, very lucky.

Right off to bed - got to be up at stupid o'clock tomorrow for the Route 500 and into Stuttgart for 09:30 and we are not going the short route in .

but as Paul says we stretched some legs today on the Autobahn - its impossible to overstate how good the Boxter S exhaust of Jax sounds with the sports exhaust , How great it is to have an S54 along :driving: :driving:

so far we have had epic weather since arriving this morning .

So how fast is the Beatle then... :driving:

Arrived in the Hotel in Stuttgart after a fantastic early morning drive ( engines started at 6:00 am) on the Famous Route 500 with breathtaking views and only one hair raising moment .

then through stuttgart rush hour traffic to Zuffenhausen for a quick cafe and the 911/Boxter Production Line 2 hour tour . No Photos of the Factory tour although we must have seen about 15 GT3RS being built or ready for shipping .

We then had a decent lunch in the on site Cafe and then went round the Porsche Museum itself which has an excellent display .... including a Beetle which will delight Perry ! Building itself is a work of art .

my favourite was the Carrrera GT in GT Silver with a Cocoa Interior :D .

try and get some photos uploaded later .
