Confirming I'll be there - i want to meet you at the 2 & 210 if possible IMZ4N ...

Chuck,

I plan on being on the north side of the 210 at the 2 parked on the side of the road at 9:30 and leaving at 9:45. On the south side of the 210 there is a 76 and a shell gas station.

I am really looking foward to Saturday's events. While at Blackbird Air Park at 11:00 we will be meeting Joe Davvies ( a Z owner). I'm sure that he will make the visit something special. Here is a link to the park and there is a map on one of the pages.

I feel that we will end up with some very special photo's. Do not miss out.

Looks like there will be 15-16 cars at this event. People are still chiming in as the day gets closer, so reserve your spot now.

You know....I got paid....and I cleaned the car yesterday. I may just make this event. Problem is I won't be able to leave till late tonight, I suppose I could leave early morning. I'll try to make it, but I don't know if friends have anything going this weekend. So I may not be. Put me in as a definate maybe!

Well Matt that almost, sometimes, if, sorta, kinda, perhaps, possibly, probably be the closest thing to a definate maybe

What a day.
Start the day at 64 degs have-in coffee and pastries and kicking back thinking about carvin some curves whith a group of friends. Leave the coffee shop and hit the freeway all in a row. One hour later starting slow and smouth through enforcement laden roads without a care ( doing the speed limit). Get to the Angles Forest Hwy able to start carven the curves at speed with a check in the side view mirror only to see a line of 9 Z's in tow. Weather warming up to 80 real nice when topless. Arrive Palmdale at the Blackbird Air Park pushing 88 degs. Given the go ahead to move rope stands and get what ever shot we want. Man those stands were heavy ( so they will stand up in the wind ). Then off to lunch just to settle the stomach from a little carven of curves. Shoot a few videos on the way to the Poppy Fields only to find the hills a blaze with the colors of spring in the high desert. Leave the Poppy's behind for another course of curves. I can think of no better way to spend a saturday. I'll have pics and videos uploaded sometime tomorrow.

I got a sunburn right through the sunscreen. I guess that means the we went topless too long ( not ).

I'm working on getting pics together. Here is something to keep you busy for a while.

I got a  Out of the pic, They pulled over to make way for the Z's. Creative you are.

Nice shots The wife is from that area. We where there about 5 years ago. Where is blackbird airpark? We recognize most of the places you where at.

timscuba,

Blackbird Air Park is in Palmdale, Ca. just outside the gate to the air traffic control for SoCal. One of the ZSCCA members, Joe Davies ( airforce Ret. ) has a park right next door to Blackbird where most of the other shots were taken. Talk about having the red carpet rolled out for you, Gezze. :!:  It's good to have ZSCCA members in high places. Thanks again Joe.

Wow great pictures! Wish I could have made it! Oh well...I'll be there next time. :(

Yeah, Yeah, we missed your camera too ( I mean you ). We are putting out events at 2 a month. It's a wonder I make them all.
CJ10jeepster is going to be here from the UK this weekend. :driving: We are talking about going to Oxnard, via Mulhoulland and Decker on Sunday. He arrives on Saturday and will ferm up plans at that point. Clients come first. :headbang:
