if money wasn't a factor... which spark plugs would you prefer to get??

the ones the dealership provide for your car.. or would you prefer an aftermarket set??

The OEM ones are crap longlife 4 prong bosch plugs (super 4's?).

Switching to Denso iridium power plugs made starting easier and felt more urgent at lower rpm acceleration, some of this could be attributed from fitting new plugs anyway but the old ones looked a very poor design for performance.

im going with an aftermarket set this weekend.

why? the auto shop is nearby where i live.

I know mine are currently OEM sparklers... but I'm going to follow this post with interest and hope for finding the best aftermarket upgrade! :D

I have tried several brands of plugs in my Zed. While I did not do any dyno pulls with them, I had my Laptop hooked up recording engine dynamics while driving with each set.... for at least 200 mile on each plug.

What I found is that in the BMW engine, almost any platinum plug will work well. I also tried the E-3 plugs that I use in my V8. No change. The best plug I use (and still use) is the Bosch Super +4's. It is not a noticeable difference, but the engine runs (based on the running data I was looking at) just a % or two better...

i just put on NGK platinums. I felt more response from the throttle but i also did a whole lot of servicing to my car so i cant say it all came from the change in spark plugs
