poking a stick through the bars a bit.

Your 3 litre looks great OP - all you need in there is a ZHP gear-knob.

You certainly don't want a timber dash - leave that to firebobby!

Mine's supposed to be M spec but after seeing 'replaced rear springs' in its' history I suspect we're running a bit higher. Which is no bad thing actually as over here in the land of clogs and cheese (Netherlands) there seem to be a plethora of sleeping policemen (drempels) to contend with.

I'd love to go a bit lower but after having had a heatshield sheer due to a particularly high drempel I'll stick to the current setup.
What do you think...too high to be 'cool' ?

I previously had a Mini Cooper S with runflats so the z4 feels like it’s floating on a cloud

I wouldn’t say it has a hard ride as standard

Looks good Colin. Sensible choice.
Don't let that arch gap phase you! I don't with mine

Pic taken just after swapping on new 224s, so springs clearly hadn't settled

ah Mr tidy, I have always wanted a bigger knob....

Nice motor mate  ANNND there are no fake ///M stickers liberally spread over her.

Cheers, tug

I lowered mine and regretted it, I bottom out and don’t like my back wheels lean in a bit. I would stay stock height and get larger tires and wheels
