145,000 votes on something that's been in the national press for a few days. Hardly storming ahead as a poll...

That means 65,000,000 can't be bothered, didn't see the poll, support the government or realise how trivial this is.

Even 'ban Donald Trump from the UK' hit c600,000 votes :)

Even if you just take one person living at each of the 27m addresses the mail shot is going to, that's a whole 0.6% of the potential complainants. Not exactly a public outcry...

The government is an elected body, they have made a decision as an elected body, and they have a right to educate the electorate about their decision - that would be all of us, whether you voted for them or not. The electorate commission has said they have done nothing wrong.

It's only 'propaganda' to those who have made their mind up that the government is wrong, and who presumably believe they are lying. Because that's what propaganda is. To those of us who haven't, it's education.

Rather than getting all upset over a leaflet drop, your time would be better spent helping the exit campaign spread their message IMO.

With Bing on this. We have little idea, in our house hold, which way to vote on this important decision. so the more education we can get in the coming weeks the better. :)

For it to be truly educational, surely both sides should have equal opportunity to put their side of the pros & cons not just Cameron and his buddies?

I'm very happy to listen to David Cameron. :D Not so much some of his buddies.

People are going to to asked to make probably one of the most important decisions of their lives regarding their prosperity .
Any reliable information has to be welcomed,as at the moment all we have are two groups. One faction saying ,don't risk losing what we have now.The other faction saying the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, but it's all smoke and mirrors with no substance.
I tend to err on the side of caution,so you can guess we're my vote will go.

I'm guessing that the scare tactics will win but to me the "we can't make it alone as a small nation" doesn't work as , after all, we did manage to win two World Wars and I believe that we still have that same resolve and spirit. Besides that, they need us more than we need them!

I'm not sure our position in the world economy or our ability to project our influence - or force, if it came to it - is quite the same as it was nearly 100 years ago.

But I am interested to see both sides of the argument.

Quite agree.

But if you only see one side of the argument and don't like it, then you know to vote for the other side. Or is that an extrapolation too far?!
