don't take this the wrong way but the only thing that denotes the 3.0 is the silver fins, to me it make it look like you've made it into a 2.5i or a 2.0 its the outside that needs to be black if you were doing the grilles for me

Not taken the wrong way at all Jamie. I wasn't aware there was a distinguishing difference in them based on model.

I suppose you learn something new each day.

I like them black but I'll pull the plasti-dip off to regain the standard look when the time comes to sell it.

I don't think many will use the grill to determine the engine. Most won't know and those that do know it's a common mod.
