.....as the title suggests, its not stopping in place in the centre drop down.
The car came without a cradle, only the push-in oddments tray. The oddment tray kept popping out of place, so i thought id buy a used cradle to fill the space (and hopefully have it stay in place!) cos the fact that i knew the base in the dropdown was in the 'raised' position made my OCD itch!
I dont even WANT to use the cradle, its just there cos i feel like there should be one in the dropdown - bmw dont list one for my phone - HTC Desire HD.
The push button release for the removal of the cradle seems weak and as such may be the cause but i cant tell if the plastic 'hook' holding the cradle in is fully engaging as the workings are covered up once the cradle is in place.
Or is it the spring loaded base (that insists on being in the raised position) actually TOO strongly sprung and pushing the cradle out? :violent1:
Should the base lock down when no cradle /oddment tray is in position?
Has anyone had this problem, and what did you do about it? Thanks
