Personalised Number Plates

I have had the same plate on all my BMW's ... DET 313 ...I just like it so I keep it and it's not a personalised plate either. I have a personal one on my other vehicle...SILUETA.... I think it was $200 or so a few years ago for the plate and normal registration fees every year ($70).

My first and only Personal plate was a pressie from the wife. It's N55 YEO, which is nice because my name is Nick Yeo and I'm 55 and was born in 1955......oh and it cost £250.00 from the DVLA !

(the advantage in having a short name lol)

The best thing is that it hides the age of the car
So if you look after your car who knows how old it is

:tumbleweed: Unless you visit sites likes this and see my orange headlamps and instantly know its 2003 to 2005
and know it has an alpina front, non alpina wheels and BMW rear spoiler - ah ha is it fish or foul?
But that is the joy of this kind of micro world we live in which our wives and partners don't really understand or care about

As long as you are happy hun :driving:

ye, either old or new, i was rather embarrased to be driving a new car so my plate hide the fact it was new

I'd like one, just something with my initial on or something...just can never justify spending the money on one :(

The £250 includes the transfer fee of £80 so it's decent value as far as plates go ( assuming you buy from the dvla ) only other cost is buying your plates

As we are talking about prices of plates; how does £1450 sound for 'F19 MAX' - the joys of having a name that is associated with speed and redlining the rev counter lol

It's worth what your willing to pay, it's a nice plate to have and use, I'd never buy one as an investment'
