Missed it.
Will it happen again tonight? If so what time do I need to be outside?

Yeh was out for about 20 mins at 11 ish

Seen a few from Bath, how come they always appear to be coming from the area of the sky you are not looking at lol

Amazing though :)

Missed it this year but used to always be on holiday in Cornwall this time of year as a teenager. Have great memories of a night at the pub followed by an hour or so talking sh*t, laying on the beach and staring at the sky :)

Stood out there for a bit while waiting for the dogs evening poo to happen. The poo happened but I saw no meteors just stars. Even more stars when I brought my head level havin looked up so long!

I saw a few but didn't manage to capture anything other than satellite trails. I got the elusive iss though :)

I'm going to take the camera gear onto the local common tonight if the sky it's clear and try again tonight

Saw a few corkers from the back garden last night. We're going to head to the rugby club tonight to go lie in a very dark place and see what we can see

i use a lounge chair that reclines. works great. And as the radiating point of any meteor shower is fixed. You don't need to move around much.

Saw the ISS last night. Would it show any detail via a zoom lens?

No not really. What your seeing is the Sun light reflecting off its massive solar panels so even if you zoom right in itll just be a big flair of white light

No way was I looking at the meteor shower. Didn't want to wake up blind and surrounded by triffids....

The great thing about lying outside for a while is everything else you see - satellites, planets, the Milky Way... It's awesome up there, humbling and mind blowing. But the best thing is that losing yourself in a starry night never gets old
