Easy - have a spare ready in the garage.

Snapped one up for £42 on eBay and received it this morning. Very good condition with no rust on it and ran it up on a spare battery. Very smooth.

Of course it means mine will never break now

If anyone's does break you never know I could sell it on :wink:

Of course - so that's why I'll be keeping it unless short term greed or pity for a fellow z4 owner gets the better of me.

Koolchris offered to help, but I succumbed to impatience (he's been busy/on holiday, not his fault ). Weather's been better, so glad I did... But I paned on keeping my old motor to see if I could clean it up and totally forgot to ask them to keep it

you just need to buy a spare boot lid incase the current one rusts away
