While in a friends house a neighbour of his came out of her house and walked right around the car and then said !"nice car" :D
sitting in traffic a women walked past and said nice car, and countless other looks and I have also had "the people who look but don't want to be seen that they are looking" :P have to admit I really really like it when people look at the car

I think there must be a direct link between negative comments and jealousy.

I get quite a few looks in the MR2 aswell, and some in the Swift Sport although these are usally the wrong kind.

A Student dressed in a full McKenzie track suit did point and shout CHAV at my girlfriend the other day when she was in the Swift which made me laugh.

I've been surprised - I expected negative comments either through jealousy or because I'd accidentally stumbled on some green fanatic. Not had any of that though, and have had a few people who've said "nice car" or "that's some motor " etc.

I've only had great comments about my car.

In the first few days, I had the windows down, enjoying a drive, and had to stop for traffic... The car next to me winds the windows down and the woman says "I just wanted to say that is a beautiful car... And my husband thinks so too!"... Then proceeded with "Want to swap?"... (Their car was a people carrier!

Came out of work one day to see an old woman looking at the car, so I instantly think something's happened!... Turns out she just wanted to know what car it was as she'd never seen one before! Her husband then wanted to know how much it cost to run, etc!

I get nice comments all the time, and I'm guaranteed at least one person staring each time I get it out for a drive in the sun.

I love the attention though, so I can't help you there OP. I like that people look at the car and the person inside... especially if it's someone I used to know from school/similar!

You're always going to get stares in a sports car - that's the way it is. It happened with my £6000 MX5 too.

:driving: Last time I drove the Z around I had a couple african american kids in an SUV next to me "da**! nice car girl! can I have your number?" and some hicks in their truck stare at me for a few minutes before shouting "turn that music down! hahaha". Pretty much everyone stares it seems like! May have something to do with the fact I'm a college girl with blonde hair in a town in Oklahoma. That and Z's are simply gorgeous :)

I've had old people driving a brand new mini van while hopping into the car at the store say "how'd you get the money for THAT gorgeous car missy?" little do they know their brand new town and country mini van is probably worth more :headbang:

A lot of the attention, IS unwanted attention, however. Guys wanting to race me in their little mustangs gets a bit annoying. So does people assuming my parents bought the car. My single girlfriends DO absolutely adore the attention, however

Then my dad just got the brand new Z and mannn does that get alll the attention. Funniest thing ever: while I was riding with him these young girls walking down the street screamed "bi***! get outta the car so he can give ME a ride!" - hilarious!

I've loved reading all these stories! Cracks me UP!

Only really had one or two bad thing "oh thats his daddys car....ooohhh daddys car!" didnt realise 22 yr old chavs still said daddy but hey ho
Usually its just stares or kids puttin their thumbs up sayin nice car
Once i was in a rough carpark with my gf and this lad and two girl mates got out next to me and said "god look at him...he's only 18 and he's got a bmw" firstly dont think they realised sound does travel through a canvas roof and also im 20
Girls do like it tho...very few can resist something so sexy traveling down the road...and the car just adds to that fact
Maybe its the alloys??? Or the roar of the 2.0
