Not read your thoughts,i have had to resolve this issue previously its a problem on many makes and models,my previous Zed just required the membrane sticking back on lucky there was no damage to it.
If you pay a 50p i will pay £1 every ones a winner :fuelfire:

Sorry, it was my lame attempt at humour given that the forum is awash with mention of the membranes leaking yet some people appear not to have considered it.

I thought my leak was resolved, but I checked after some rain and after washing today and the footwell is damp again.

This evening I removed the footwell speaker and it's cover and pulled the carpet back. I got my wife to spray water along the bottom of the windscreen and along the gap between the front wing and the bonnet.

I found a slow trickle of water from around where the speaker would be. I plan to investigate some more over the weekend, but if anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful... Getting fed up with leak hunting!

You manage to get this sorted?

I dried my car again and it's filled up behind the seat. So it's definitely still getting in somehow.

I power washed my front drains but now thinking I may need to remove them to ensure they are definitely clear.
Have you checked the door membranes yet? They're the favourite place for water to get in if they've been hacked about.

It's on my list to check. Not had any time to attend to it since clearing the drains. I did jump into the car for 5 mins on the driver side to see if I could spot any water from the door frame on the passenger side when it was raining earlier. I managed to find a very small bit where it was pooling but it seemed to be in-between both seals/rubbers so not sure if that would drop outside or go into the car from there so not certain it is the door yet. Need to do a hose test with the card off I reckon.

I also checked the cowl, front windscreen drains. 2-3 of them are clear and I can see one in the middle is blocked however I don't think that would cause this. I'll need to attend to that tomorrow if I get some time. It's full of mud.

I was waiting for the butyl tape to arrive from Amazon. Pointless me opening up the door and finding the leak, seal is broken and not having the tape to hand so I thought best await for that to arrive. Seems like it's delayed and should be here tomorrow so if I get time this weekend it's on the to do list.

The other 2 things to check are windscreen seals and sound gen pipe. The windscreen does have 2 small gaps I can see already. But unsure if they are an issue or not.

Going to have to get the hose out and do multiple tests. If not this weekend maybe next.

How many drains does the door have? I saw one at the rear. Then I saw 3 other holes which were sealed up one with a rubber bit. I'm assuming there is another drain at the front of the door that u couldn't see from my angle of approach only had 5 mins so will need to check from the other side and see if that is okay. The rear drain on the door seemed clear.

Hopefully the butyl tape arrives tomorrow morning otherwise might need to be next weekend.

The central cowl drain is most likely to cause issues with the wiper motor I think I read somewhere.

The door has another drain at the front, about the same size as the rear one, I think this is unlikely to block but worth checking.

I saw a great tip for checking windscreen leaks as they can be tricky to find. Spray around the screen edges/seals on the outside with lots of soapy water, then blow around the inside along the edges with an airline. Any leaks should give you loads of bubbles.
